What Do You See
Morning :)
I spent the day playing in my room. Paper, sewing machine, glue. Yum!
You can see my latest creations in my Etsy shop. I thought it might be fun to do something different. How about some goodies? I think it's time for my first giveaway on this blog. Are you ready?
Go to my shop.
Look around.
Come back here and post a comment with a link to your favorite item. What do you like about that item or the shop. Even better would be a constructive comment on what I could do to make it better.
That's it.
That's all you have to do.
I will number the comments and put them into a random number generator. The winner will get a goodie bag full of fun items. The drawing will end on the 1st of August (Sunday). Tell your friends!
It's a rainy, glorious day here. I think I will work out and then go play some more. Time to start gathering some fun things to be shipped out to some lucky blog reader!

I have asked for and often wish my club members would give me constructive criticism or constructive praise so I welcomed the chance to offer my thoughts to you since you asked. I went to your Etsy Shop and I searched to find anything that jumped out at me as being negative. To be honest, I didn't find anything. I think the only thing I might do differently, if I offered what you do, is maybe have a happier logo but that is really only a matter of personal color/style preference and is not to say your logo is bad, just not colors I would choose so that really isn't very constructive either. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour items for sale are fun and knowing what goes into what you make, they are well worth what you are charging. So, I guess you will have to settle for that constructive praise.
My favorite item you are selling is
Papillon de Fleur (Butterfly of the Flower). I love butterflies and I like the shapes and colors you combined to make that item.

This journal for myself.
Papillion de Fleur was beautiful also, especially since I live in Papillion, NE.
I loved your things. Your etsy site was adorable. I had a hard time choosing which journal I liked the best. I would love a journal with lined paper. I know, not as beautiful, but more practical for me.
Thanks for sharing and showing us your etsy site.

I love your shop logo/header! It really sets the tone for an artistic shop. I didn't see anything I didn't like about your shop.
ReplyDeleteMy fave item is your River Fairy Journal! I love that the fairy on the front is an art print from one of your original charcoal drawings. It's really good!

ReplyDeleteI love how it looks! :-)
Hi Intrinsic Art! I visited your shop and absolutely fell in love with the collage on vellum. I am in the experimenting stages in art journaling now and will definitely try that!
ReplyDeleteAs for constructive? I think the pictures for the thumbnails could be a bit brighter and clearer. You do amazing work and first impressions are key! Thanks!
It was hard to choose as I really like the journals and altered art you have listed, but I think my favorite is http://www.etsy.com/listing/50548455/breezy-day-original-art - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wish you much success with your first giveaway! :)
Nice shop, the one thing that really popped out was the River Fairy Journal, really wonderful artwork!

good luck!
I think the one thing I would do differently is to scan the items or take a closer shot of each making sure it is all in the picture and then crop out as much of the background as possible as that can be distracting while looking at your offerings.
