Define Yourself...

I've offered a few brand new things in the shop. (see what I did there *wink*)

You can now purchase an original logo design, branding package, or a pre-made logo. I'm hoping to add more pre-made logos soon. Christmas break is coming and I'll have time to work :)

You can view this listing here: Branding Package. Soon there will be web development and more. Keep watching :) and if you have anything specific that you would like to see, leave me a note...

What Would You Like...

Happy Friday All,

It was a long week. I don't know about you, but I am so ready for a weekend and some time to just "be". My plan is yoga, tech, and tea :)

There might be a few chores mixed in there. Like cleaning and grocery shopping. But those things definitely will not be my main focus!

I am still absorbing as much information as I can possibly find on Web Development. And I have been practicing. I finished a site for a friend. You can view "Moments by Sara Jean" live! It's even responsive for all types of devices which makes me very happy.

My goal is to have a few website packages available in my Etsy shop around the first of the new year. If you have something specific you would like to see such as graphics, color scheme, or a theme, leave me a comment and I will work it into my plans :)

I will also be creating a listing for a custom site. If there is an idea that you have been mulling over for awhile, now is your chance to put it into action!! :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Some Mini Crafty...

This weekend I switched things up a bit.

Not a ton.

Just a bit.

Kyla and I went and browsed the fabric store and found some fun Valentine fabrics. I have a friend who is a photographer and is getting ready to start her Valentine Mini Sessions. I got to be crafty and make some props for her :)

My craft table was covered. Things were piled. The sewing machine was whirring.

Here is what I created:

It's a mini session kit. Things can be mixed and matched, or used all together. Fun!! I also made a set for my Etsy shop. If you take photos or know someone who does this kit will be a fun way to add some pizzaz to the sessions :)

It was nice to be creative this weekend, and nice to be creative in a different way.

Happy January!

Something to Snuggle

So I just had to pop in and show you the most fantastic pillow!

Leanna at Twirlocity made this pillow and a few others using some of the graphics from my store. Super fun! You can find them in her shop "here" if you would like more details.

She has other fun pillows listed as well :)

Sew Long Summer...

It's all done :(

We have officially started back up with the school schedule.

Back to getting up early. Coming home exhausted. Kids that are going in a bunch of different directions. Back to fitting in creative time in spare moments and on weekends.

Sew long summer!

You can download the sewing machine "here". Hopefully they will be a little more regular now that we are going to be back to a schedule. Who knows...I might even get some time to draw :)

Enjoy!

Alligator Love...

Out of all the cards I made last weekend, this one is probably my favorite.

Just can't seem to resist his cute little gator face :)

Buckets of Cards...

Happy Monday!

I spent the weekend in my craft room. Creating.

No motorcycles for us the weekend. Thunderstorms and rain slowed us down just a little.

It was really nice to just putz around the house, drink coffee, and play with paper. The rest of the family might have gone a bit stir crazy, but I was happy :)

I made a bucket full of cards. Really. I think my final count was 67. Not sure what came over me...I had a few ideas and the cards just started multiplying...

That was the fun part. The not so fun part was the photos, editing, and now the slow listing. I have put a few in the shop, and there are more to come.

Anyone need a card? :)

Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be nice again. Most likely we will be out on our motorcycles...since it's been a handful of days that they have been parked in the garage. The freebie is scheduled and ready to go. Enjoy!!

Always,
Rhoda

Paper is Calling...

Good Morning,

We are almost at the end of July. How did that happen?!

Our days have been spent running around the state, riding our motorcycles, walking to the river, splashing in the lake, and taking advantage of every spare moment we have.

Summer at it's best!

I have neglected my blog. Ignored my paper collection. Avoided pencil and paper.

They are starting to call to me. Playing has been a nice break, but I am ready to spend some time being creative.

I did scrapbook...a little:

And I made a card:

And a new design for the shop:

I have ideas for a few new designs...but I'm not sure how long I will hold still. The lake is calling. I'm sure that by this fall, I will be ready to settle down and spend some time creating. Maybe when the hubby goes MIA for archery season :)

Hope you all are enjoying the month of July as well. Let's hit the pause button...I really want it to last a little longer!

Always,

Rhoda

Summer Time Again...

Good Morning!

I did a little bit of drawing this weekend. Not nearly as much as I thought I would. To busy enjoying the fact that I could be a bum!

Do what I wanted as the impulse struck.

Run to town to shop for pants.

Go to a friend's for pizza and drinks.

Sleep in.

Take a nap.

Workout.

Watch movies.

Lay on the couch and listen to the rain on the roof.

Summer has begun!! :)

I did list a few new stamps in the shop. My plan is to list some more soon. If there is something specific you would like to see...leave me a quick note in the comments. I'll add it to my list :)

Have a great week!

Rhoda

Sweet!

Happy Friday!

School is out. Ready to celebrate. Something sweet! Some sleeping in. Coffee and books. And Art.

That's my plan :)

Hmmm. Chocolate and coffee. Might have to do some baking.

Bird Watching

The birds have been chirping around here like crazy.

As soon as the sun starts to peek over the hills, the birds start chattering.

It's probably my favorite noise to wake up to. Unless it's a magpie. Yuck!

My studio has a lilac right outside one of the windows. I've found myself just staring at the birds. Watching them flitter around inside the branches. The way they bob their little heads. Their tiny claws gripping for balance. Fascinating.

I never thought I would become a bird watcher (and I'm not even close to being an official one)...but I do find myself paying a little more attention to them than I used to :)

I even find myself drawing them :) Sheesh! If you feel like coloring this image as well...to celebrate your "love of birds" you can find her in my shop: Bird Watching.

Happy Sunday!

A Girl and Her Pet

Happy Friday!!

Are you all ready for an extra long weekend? I am so ready for the weekend, and the summer that is just around the corner :)

I thought I would pop in and tease you all with a preview of a new stamp that I have added to my shop. There might be a couple more to add after this rainy weekend!!

It's going to be a great weekend to be creative. And I'm excited to play!!

Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend :)

Don't Shush Your Voice

I have made a few more changes to the shop. All of my prints are now digital. They will be an instant download when you purchase them. Why?

  • You can print them for journals, scrapbook pages, or any other creative project.
  • Print them as many times as you wish.
  • Send them to your local printer (Walgreen's, Costco, etc.) for any size you want (and it's cheaper too!).
  • Print them on art paper and add doodles or journaling.
  • Use them for your computer or iPhone wall paper.
  • Anything else you can dream up to use them for!
There will be more new quotes added as well as new art soon. Summer is just around the corner!

Enjoy :)

Sewing Machines...

I have a love/hate relationship with my sewing machine.

Love:
I can stitch paper like no ones business.
Shabby Chic journals that I make using a sewing machine make me smile.
Straight lines and a few little stitches are easy enough.

Hate:
Untangling the string.
Starting a project and then the bobbin runs out. Never fails.
Thinking I am doing wonderful, and the string isn't even through the needle.
That ball of junk that wads up under my project.
Anything that isn't a straight line ;)

There must be something inherent about a sewing machine though...because even before I knew how to use one, I was drawn to them. I really loved the old pedal one that was in a spare bedroom in my grandmother's house.

Sometimes I walk by mine, and feel it pulling to me. Saying "please come and stitch something".

These new images in my shop are for any of you who feel the same way (or love your sewing machine even more than I could possibly imagine) :)

I set this listing up using the new "Etsy Downloads". Let me know what you think...I'm hoping it makes transactions even smoother than they are now.

Have a great weekend!

Happy New Year...

Welcome to 2013.

We are slowly working our way back into our routine. The break was wonderful. Short but wonderful. Now we go for the long haul until a break in February. *sigh*

There was a flurry of family, a little bit of travel, a few days of just being home (my favorite), a few visits to the movies, and more. Not much happened on the creative front, but I have started to work a little bit into the evenings and then this past weekend.

There are few new things in the shop (see the previous post about stickers! fun!).

These cute sets and a layout are now listed in the shop as well. A great way to start your scrapbook pages or to add some pizazz to a card or project.

And...since it's Tuesday, it's time for a freebie :)

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a great start to the New Year.

Just Keep Drawing...

I just can't seem to stop.

Draw.
Draw.
Color.
Draw.
Color.

It seems I have hit the "mojo" jack-pot. When I started working on that illustration job 3 weeks ago, it felt a little rusty and bumpy. Now, the ideas are flowing and the only thing holding me back is time. When I do get to sit down, the paper doesn't stay blank for long. I'm loving it!!

Here are a few that I worked up this week. They are all in the process of being colored or painted as well:

These are all listed in the "New" section of my shop. I'll be sure to post the final colored pieces here as well :)

I know I missed the freebie this week. Figured since it was a Friday and we could use some fun before the chaos of the Holiday's strike that I would post a giveaway today.

Post a comment and win two free digi's from my shop.
Your choice.
And...I'll choose 3 winners...so you have some pretty good odds there!

I'll do the final drawing next Wednesday the 21st before I run away for the weekend :)

Toodles,

Rhoda

Home Again, Home Again

Well hello there :)

It's been a whirl wind the past few days. And without service (and too busy playing) I didn't manage any blog posts.

My sister trip was amazing. Again.

Lots of laughing. Mostly at ourselves. Silly pictures. Good food. Adventures.

I'm bummed that it's over. It seemed to go way to fast this time. Doubling the time would have been better...

We dropped the little sister off on Saturday evening. Sunday morning I drove the middle sister home to Salmon to meet up with her husband and kids and then I turned around to come home. I was literally in the house for 15 minutes and then gone again.

Two days with the Student Council kids in Helena, Montana. Busy chasing and shuttling, and sometimes just waiting. I did get to see the Capitol. Beautiful artwork. And this city has some amazing architecture and old old houses. Tons of history and character. I will be coming back to play again (with my kids and probably my sisters too!!).

I have a treat for you today...and some ideas for new ones coming up. Stay tuned :)

Here's today's:

It's snowing here in Montana...and I am clinging to my last thoughts of warm weather. Let the countdown to warmer weather begin :)

Have a great Tuesday!

Rhoda

Adventure Time...

It's almost that time again. And I am so excited!

Sister Trip!!

We have at least 2 Hot Springs on our list. Shopping in Missoula. Barnes and Noble. And then whatever we can find to entertain ourselves stuffed into the spare moments.

There was some time to doodle this week and I am still working on breaking my Halloween mood. Maybe once I color these and make a few things with them it will be quenched.

You can find all of these new digital stamps in my shop. I've sectioned out the "NEW" ones. It makes it loads easier to navigate :)

I'll post pictures of my sister trip when I return. Have a great weekend!

Sew Much Fun...

Happy Tuesday!

It's time for another free file. I made this one in my sketchbook awhile ago, but finally just managed to get it made up for digital use.

It's "Sew Much Fun" (click the title to download). These images will be great on cards, labels, or gift tags.

There are also a few new stamps in my shop, if you get a minute, stop by :)

Have a great day!
