We all have one (hopefully).
It can be your own yard or garden...or it can be a park or spot along the river.
I have a number of places...trees and water always make me happy :)
Find your Little Patch of Heaven today and celebrate it:
Right now...sunshine is going to make me happy. I'm going to go soak up the rays and read :)

It's A Party!!
We had a great weekend of playing and relaxing (a nice mixture of both!).
Saturday was Hayden's birthday. 9 years old. Where does the time go?
He wanted to take some friends up to the hot springs, so we played in the pool all day. Had a picnic. Then they came home and had a sleep over. Wore themselves out!
The kids have always wanted to buy a disposable underwater camera. We bought one and took tons of pics. They should be developed by Friday. If they are any good, I'll share :)
Sunday we were all bums. Bored games. Time in the sun. A nap. Perfect!
I did get some scrapbooking in before the fun started:
It's a Party! I have it listed here on eBay. It's a girlie party...but those are so much more fun to scrap! The cupcakes and gifts are my artwork. The little girls are images from Saturated Canary. Super fun to color with Copics.
And I also colored these for the current layout that I am working on:
These are my designs that I drew and colored. It was a busy weekend!
They are all cut out and ready to be placed on a scrapbook page. Hopefully, I'll get to that stage soon!
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Coloring Always Makes Me Happy...
Just a quick pop in to show you what I have been coloring...
It was way more time consuming than I expected. Kyla and I have been sitting at the table most of the morning :) We aren't complaining though. Coloring is always fun!
The image is a blending of two digis from Saturated Canary. Keep checking in to see what I make with them...

How Long Has it Been?
Happy Tuesday!
It's already been a super productive morning. I woke up early to go teach a Yoga class (the regular instructor had a family event come up). Normally, I practice in the late afternoons or evenings.
Morning was different. Refreshing. I am in love with Down Dog and Frog Pose. I'm ready to tackle this day! Namaste :)
Yesterday I finally went down to my craft room and scrapbooked. I can't even remember the last time I made a page. I've had the urge. The desire. Never the follow through.
Words do not describe how content I felt yesterday when I finally started putting papers together, cutting, glueing, and creating!
I listed this one on eBay. I also have another one that I am hoping to finish today. I'll post it here when I get it done.
I'm not sure which part I enjoy more...the coloring or the scrapping. Good thing I get to do both!
It's been awhile since I posted a free goodie. This happy guy is looking for some love and attention:
Download him by clicking here: Happy Dog. Directions on how to use him are posted at the top of the blog :)
Okay. I'm off to be creative.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Let's Try That Again...
It's been rainy and drizzly here. And Oh So COLD!
I'm so ready for warm weather. Summertime...where are you?
While I have been stuck inside, under a blankie, I have finished a book (Weird Sisters...really good!).
I have debated different art projects.
I have spent time with the in-laws.
I have drank coffee and read my book at the library.
I've searched through online scrapbook kits.
And, I've decided to start selling on eBay again.
I loved scrapping and sharing (I have CD's full of pictures of all the things I made over the years. Yikes! I have gone through some supplies!).
Here is my first listing in a loooonng time:
I am currently coloring and scheming my next few layouts. Check back often!
Happy Sunday,

It's Summer Time!
Good Morning!!
It's officially the first day of summer break (the weekend doesn't really count...it always just feels like another weekend). When you wake up on that first Monday and you know you don't have to go to school...that's when it starts to feel real :)
To celebrate, I have a free digi for you.
She is super sweet!! And ready for coloring and crafting :) You can download by clicking here.
I've added some fun new things to the shop...with more on the way:
Happy Monday!

A Fun Project
Just wanted to post a quick photo of a project that one of my customers did with the coffee cup clip art.
She used it to make some super cute tags. She is using them for Starbucks goodies that she gave out as teacher appreciation gifts. So cute! And so much fun!
She used these coffee cup images:
And these papers for the background:
As a teacher, there are days that there is nothing that I want (or love) more than my coffee! Kids could earn A's if they just knew the right way to place my order (kidding...but only a little *wink*).
Have a great day!

Spring is Bursting
It's been a little over a week that we have had warmer temperatures. It is amazing how much green has popped out in that short amount of time.
The current bushes are full of leaves and little pink blossoms. The yard is lush (and hubby has already mown it once!). The lilacs are about half way there.
Those are the ones I usually watch for.
They are such a dark green, and when that full leaf is on, you know it is finally spring!
And the birds singing in the morning (and the evening)...it just makes me smile :)
This little digital stamp is the perfect way to celebrate! Click on the link to download the free file. If you have questions, be sure and read the "How to Download" at the top of my blog.
Have a great Wednesday!

Ahh...Creativity
It was a whirl wind weekend.
Friday after school I loaded up a small bus with 9 girl and 2 parents. We drove four and a half hours to Bozeman, MT. The girls were signed up for an all girls Math and Science day at the University.
It started at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday so we stayed at the C'mon Inn.
The girls were so silly.
Swimming.
Vending machines.
Hot tubs.
The tea and coffee bar.
And lots of giggles!
We left at 3:30 yesterday afternoon and made the long drive back home. Exhausted, but happy :) You should have heard them talking about all the science they learned, the cool experiments, and things that they liked about the day.
Today, I have spent the day doing what I want to do (so naturally that was drawing and playing on my computer). It's still early enough that I will probably take a walk or do some Yoga. Then maybe find a new book to read outside in the sunshine.

Soundtrack of My Life...
Do you ever feel that when you are plugged into your iPod/iPhone that it is the sound track to your life?
Think about it.
You are wandering around the grocery store, and you have your own theme music. Or while you are making dinner or doing the laundry. It doesn't always set the stage for the next scene, but it still colors it :)
Sometimes, my sound track is on repeat. I could listen to the same songs over and over and over. And I do. Probably drives everyone crazy. Makes me happy! Currently it is Adele, Pink, Nickelback (Pink and Nickelback are always in the list), the new Goyote, Fun, and Stevie Nicks.
And then, I start to take out a song here and there. Add in a new one. And before I know it, my sound track has changed. I'm almost ready for a few new ones.
I've been meaning to make this stamp for a while now. Finally finished it and got it listed in my shop.
Then I colored a few of the cassettes for fun. It's nice to seem them all finished and bright and cheery.
What are the songs that make up your sound track? Do you have favorites that you can always hear, or do like constant change and variety?
Happy Listening!
